A lot of people worry that artificial intelligence will take over jobs, especially creative ones like art or design. But I don’t think AI can ever truly replace what art means. In my opinion, art is everything and everywhere—it’s how we express our thoughts, feelings, and imagination. When someone uses AI to make an image or a song, it’s not the machine doing the feeling—it’s the human behind it, choosing the words, the style, and the meaning. The creativity still comes from us.
AI is just another tool, like a paintbrush, camera, or computer.
When I think about this, it brings into mind when digital art first became popular. When programs like Photoshop and Illustrator came out, some people didn’t believe digital art was “real” art because it was made on a computer. Artists would take images, edit them, mix them together, and call it art—and now, we celebrate that as creativity. I see AI in the same way. If you use AI to express an idea or emotion, that’s art too. Art evolves with us, and that’s what makes it so powerful.
